Fit is everything in the therapeutic process, pay attention to how your body feels in response to the flow of the conversation as this somatic information is helpful in guiding your next steps. This invoice can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement where applicable. Our Therapy services are covered by most extended benefit insurance plans, however, please be sure to check your benefits plan to see which specific designation and/or categories of providers (such as Registered Psychotherapist).

How often should I be connecting with my Therapist?

The frequency of session appointments should be determined through discussion with your Therapist as it will be based on your current needs for support at the time of starting. Often times this will shift depending on your unique experience of your own functioning. Some folks begin with weekly sessions, others biweekly and others can begin with biweekly and shift to weekly or monthly depending on the current need. Let there be flexibility here what matters is consistency and pacing. In conversation with your Therapist determine what flow works best for you at this time that honours your needs. Consistency and appropriate pacing is key to change.
